The back parking lot at Bonny Eagle High School looked like a construction site when a derrick from the Cianbro Corporation and Cianbro employees Kevin Murphy and Allen Goepner spent the day at the school showing Don Denico’s industrial technology students how a large crane works.

The students helped to rig the loads for the crane and have it lift various objects. The classes learned the hand signals used in moving objects and how to rig them to be lifted and to try out lifting with the crane.
