The bride is the daughter of Leo and Mildred Thiboutot of Lecanto, Fla. The groom is the son of Louis H. Gignac of Iron Mountain, Mich., and Antoinette Ferrante-Gignac of Portland.

The bride is a 1970 graduate of Portland High School. She is a hair stylist and owner of As You Wish at 266 Woodford St., Portland.

The groom is a 1972 graduate of Portland High School. He is in circulation and advertising for the Current Publishing company of Scarborough.

After a honeymoon in Florida, the couple is residing in Portland.
