Benjamin McKinney of Cape Elizabeth has accepted an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was nominated to the academy by U.S. Rep. Tom Allen, D-Maine, with whom he is pictured here. McKinney is the son of Sheila Grace and Donald McKinney, and will play Division I lacrosse for the academy.
