ERA Today Realty’s Daniel Fahey is one of two finalists chosen from over 1,500 applicants for the 2004 Real Estate Apprentice Grant, according to the Real Estate Apprentice Foundation.

Fahey will receive $5,000 worth of real estate education products and services. Dan took his licensing course at Arthur Gary School of Real Estate, part of the RealtyUA?® network of real estate schools.

Fahey grew up in Scarborough, spent a lot of time outdoors playing sports and attended private high school in Portland, mostly paid for by working in restaurants. It was at these restaurants that he developed a love for cooking and in 1986, he was accepted at Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts Program. After receiving his degree in 1988, he returned for two more years as a teaching assistant and finished his four-year degree cum laude after receiving a scholarship.

Fahey entered the real estate industry because he wanted a challenging career with some flexibility and has joined ERA Today Realty in Windham. He is married and has two young sons.

His family, he says, is the number one reason that he decided to pursue a career in real estate.

“I was extremely proud to learn of Dan’s accomplishment and not the least bit surprised,” said Sales Manager and ERA’s co-owner Darryl Harvey. “He is a very hard worker and very committed to all aspects of his life, whether it be his family, real estate career and personal relationships.”
