The Friends of the Scarborough Public Library will honor Deborah Peirce as Friend of the Year at the group’s annual meeting on May 16. The meeting, open to all Friends members, will be held at the Black Point Inn and will feature a presentation from James Sullivan of Scarborough, author of “Over the Moat: Love Among the Ruins of Imperial Vietnam.”
