The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers age 55 and over for the following volunteer opportunities:
– Attention entertainment people! Several facilities are looking for live entertainment of any kind to help bring joy to their residents. Be creative!
– Now that spring has sprung, agencies are looking for gardeners to help spruce up their facilities. They’ll provide the plantings; you’ll be the planter.
– More outdoor opportunities: water sampling, guiding outdoor tours or assisting tourists, to name a few.
– Historic homes will be opening soon. Think about becoming a docent (guide) or assisting in a gift shop.
