The Scarborough Republican Town Committee meeting will be held on Monday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at Scarborough Town Hall, in Conference Room B.

State Sen. Karl Turner, R-Cumberland, has been invited as the guest to provide information on the Citizens Referendum regarding the $450 million borrowing to fund the current budget.

The committee will also be finalizing their plans for the Memorial Day activities. As usual there will be reports from the state and county committees and our legislators and an opportunity for members to discuss and ask questions about pending legislation.

All registered Republicans are invited to attend.
