Mark P. Tourangeau has been named a vice president in the Treasury Department at TD Banknorth Inc. in Portland. A treasury products specialist, he will continue to be responsible for marketing interest rate derivatives to commercial and industrial customers and working to insure that interest rate derivative products are structured to meet the overall borrowing needs of customers.

Tourangeau joined TD Banknorth in 2004 and has more than 12 years in financial management. He previously served at TD Banknorth as an asset liability group manager. Tourangeau is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, the Maine Securities Analyst Society and the Financial Executives Networking Group.

A South Portland resident, Tourangeau volunteers with the Jeremiah Cromwell Disabilities Center in Portland. He received a master’s in economics in 1993 from the University of New Mexico and an undergraduate degree in economics in 1988 from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. A native of Cape Elizabeth, Tourangeau is a 1984 graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School.
