Stephen C. Garde was recently appointed administrator of the Scarborough Maine Veterans’ Home, a 150-bed facility. Garde brings more than 30 years of healthcare management and financial expertise to the company.

Garde is an adjunct faculty member at St. Joseph’s College of Maine and has served on the Maine Nursing Home Administrator’s Licensing Board since 2001. He was also a member of the Maine Alzheimer’s Association Board of Directors from 2001 to 2004.
