Casco Bay Brewing Company recently introduced its American Pale Ale to Maine. Casco Bay American Pale Ale symbolizes the company’s vision and determination to create uniquely different and immensely enjoyable brews. This is Maine’s first and only bottled year round American Style Pale Ale.
“We’ve always offered different styles of beers from our competition. It’s what makes us special,” commented Bryan Smith of Cape Elizabeth, Owner and Brew Master. “It’s time for beer lovers to declare their ‘beer independence’ and pick up an American Pale Ale,” continued Smith.
American style pale ales tend to have a slightly lighter body and a more assertive hop flavor. Compared to the more traditional English Pale Ale, American Pale Ales have a crisper dryer finish.
Casco Bay American Pale is packaged in 12oz. bottles, six-packs, and kegs. American Pale is brewed at the company’s Portland, Maine brewery. The American Pale recipe includes American Ale yeast, Centennial hop for bittering and Cascade hop for finishing.
