I think it is awful that recruiters are willing to go to such huge extremes to get students to sign up to fight the battles that are going on today. The promise of $70,000 for college is just factually wrong.

We need to work together to end the practices of these misleading ad campaigns and using false hopes and promises of huge money and playing a few recruiters’ video games is just not going to get me to sign up for this war.

The U.S. government needs to learn that today’s students are smart and can read the fine print on how much money we really are going to receive – and it comes nowhere close to the ever increasing costs of college education.

Not to mention what the costs of college education will be three years later when today’s recruits finish (if they make it out alive) their obligation to even be eligible for the GI Bill.
