Alexa Ainsworth of Cape Elizabeth was named to the dean’s list at the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University for the fall 2004 semester. To qualify for the list, students must achieve at least a 3.4 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester.

Ainsworth is a sophomore majoring in broadcast journalism.
